Description
I took this photo a long time ago with my PHd (Push Here Dummy) camera and thought I'd bring it to life here on dA. It was Spring and we were on our way up to Glacier Point in Yosemite.
It was very early morning and no one but us were on the road. We turned a corner and here comes this guy trotting up the other side of the road looking for breakfast.
As we neared, my husband slowed the car and I got my camera ready, nearly leaning on top of him to reach out his window.
I spoke to the coyote and took a couple of quick photos while he posed for me. I thanked him and we drove off.
I turned around to watch him and he stood in the middle of the road staring back at me. We locked eyes until we drove around the next bend in the road.
He was my model for one of my LotR RPG characters companion wolf. Well, same family, at least!

Wow, I think it's amazing that he posed for the shot and wasn't scared! I'm sure he was able to read your intentions that you wouldn't do any harm on him! He looks like a king of the forest! I don't know much about coyotes and if there are wolfs on the places where coyotes live?
